About
Alain Barsime is co-founder and CEO of Entelon, an AI company building reliable, language-native intelligent systems for institutions and enterprises across Africa. He sets Entelon’s long-term vision and leads its research and engineering direction, deciding which problems the company pursues and how its systems should be built to last. Alain is deeply technical, architecting the backend and AI infrastructure that Entelon’s products run on.
He co-founded Entelon in Kigali in August 2025 with Don Durkheim. Before Entelon, the two built WeSperr, a data privacy startup where Alain was Chief Technology Officer; it was selected from thousands of applicants into the Hanga Pitchfest top 25. He studies software development at Rwanda Coding Academy, and before that completed O-Level at Groupe Scolaire Officiel de Butare, placing in the top 80 nationally in Rwanda’s 2024 national examinations.
He is based in Kigali, Rwanda. For enquiries, email alainbarsime@gmail.com.
